Las Vegas Strip welcomes Blackpink by illuminating landmarks in shades of pink

Las Vegas is rolling out the pink carpet to extend a warm welcome to the renowned K-pop sensation, BLACKPINK, for their inaugural appearance in the city. In anticipation of the group’s much-awaited concert at Allegiant Stadium, a series of iconic landmarks are being illuminated in shades of pink.

Since Wednesday, August 16, the luminous glow of the iconic Welcome to Las Vegas sign has been transformed to a vibrant pink hue, paying homage to the South Korean girl group. This marks their debut performance in Las Vegas, scheduled to take place on Friday, August 18, at Allegiant Stadium. The usual yellow radiance of the sign will maintain its pink brilliance until Monday, August 21.

As the concert dates draw nearer, the festivities continue. On both Thursday, August 17, and Friday, August 18, several other prominent landmarks are joining the trend by adopting a captivating pink illumination in celebration of the event.

Las Vegas is also abuzz with a range of activities designed to commemorate BLACKPINK’s extraordinary appearance. A thrilling scavenger hunt at AREA15 and an enticing photo opportunity adjacent to Caesars Palace are among the exciting events planned. The photo opportunity sessions are scheduled for Thursday, August 17, from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m., and Friday, August 18, from 6 to 9 p.m. Meanwhile, the AREA15 Scavenger Hunt is set to take place exclusively on Friday, August 18.

The crescendo of excitement reaches its pinnacle with BLACKPINK’s live performance at Allegiant Stadium on August 18. This remarkable occasion marks a significant milestone in both the group’s journey and the vibrant cultural landscape of Las Vegas.
