Attention, families! Get ready for a more affordable trip to Disney’s domestic theme parks. The Walt Disney Company has just announced limited-time discounts on children’s tickets at Disneyland and Disney World.
Starting October 24th, parents can snag children’s tickets (for kids aged three to nine) for Disneyland in California for as low as $50 each. These tickets are valid from January 8th to March 10th next year.
But that’s not all! At Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, children’s tickets and dining plans will be half-off for guests who book a four-day, four-night vacation package at one of the resorts. This incredible deal begins on November 14th and can be used from March 3rd to June 30th, 2024.
Why the price cuts? Disney’s U.S.-based parks, just like many others, have seen lower attendance levels as families face higher costs and inflation. Travel agents have noticed that higher ticket prices and increased trips to Europe have contributed to this decline.
However, Disney’s parks, experiences, and products division is still thriving. In fact, its revenue increased by 13% in the third quarter, reaching a staggering $8.3 billion. That’s why Disney is investing even more in this successful segment, planning to spend approximately $60 billion in the parks division over the next decade.
Exciting projects are already underway, including a redesign of Splash Mountain and updates to hotels and resorts. Disney is even expanding its cruise line by adding two new ships in 2025 and another in 2026.
On top of all that, Disney hinted at potential new additions to its parks during its D23 Expo, such as a “Zootopia” or “Moana” themed area and a section overrun by Disney villains at Magic Kingdom.
So, don’t miss out on this opportunity to save and create unforgettable memories with your family at Disney’s domestic theme parks. Book your discounted tickets now before they’re gone!
