This victory propels the Philippines to the gold medal match, where they will face Jordan, led by Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. The highly-anticipated clash will take place on Friday, October 6.
During the final period, naturalized player Justin Brownlee showcased his skills, nailing the go-ahead step-back triple with just 24 seconds remaining. Additionally, Scottie Thompson contributed 13 points, while June Mar Fajardo and CJ Perez added 8 each, solidifying the team’s shot at securing at least a silver medal.
