It’s no secret that Dubai loves luxury, but the city is now adding a new jewel to its crown with the construction of the Bvlgari Lighthouse on Jumeira Bay Island. Meraas, the real estate arm of Dubai Holding, has just inked an eye-popping Dh850 million deal with Dutco Construction to bring this shimmering 27-storey residential tower to life. With marine works completed, the stage is set for construction to begin, as Meraas embarks on what could be one of the most glamorous architectural additions in the region.

But this isn’t just about breaking ground—it’s about Dubai maintaining its grip as a top-tier luxury destination. The Bvlgari Lighthouse is the latest in a string of colossal construction contracts, hot on the heels of Nakheel’s Dh810 million deal with Jan De Nul Dredging for Palm Jebel Ali’s marine works. Both deals highlight Dubai’s ongoing dance with opulence, with Meraas and Nakheel leading the choreography. Designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, the lighthouse is slated to dazzle by Q2 2027, with architectural finesse wrapped in Bvlgari’s iconic flair.

At the heart of this project lies not just exclusivity but a promise of ultra-luxury living. Picture this: four and five-bedroom penthouses, topped with an eight-bedroom Sky Villa that sprawls across the top three floors. Private rooftop gardens, outdoor living spaces, and a pool to take in sweeping views of the Arabian Gulf. It’s a dream on every level, literally. Dubai Holding Real Estate CEO Khalid Al Malik is confident that this new collaboration with Dutco Construction will “elevate the standard for luxury beachfront living,” cementing Dubai’s status as the go-to destination for those who crave life at the pinnacle of sophistication.

And where better to build a lighthouse than Jumeira Bay Island, a place shaped like a seahorse, where exclusivity meets tranquility? Already home to the Bvlgari Resort Dubai, the island is a playground for the elite, offering private beaches, high-end dining, and serene boulevards that wind through some of the world’s most coveted real estate. With the Bvlgari Lighthouse poised to become the island’s crowning glory, Dubai continues to push the boundaries of luxury living, setting the bar ever higher.
