The State Council of China has announced plans to resume and potentially expand visa-free policies, as indicated in a policy document released on Friday. Additionally, the statement, posted on the central government’s website, outlined intentions to reinstate or introduce more international flights. The government aims to promote visa-free policies and visa-on-arrival assurances, alongside streamlining immigration procedures for cruise passengers and self-driving tourists to facilitate smoother travel experiences.

The government has also urged the improvement of tax-rebate services, including the establishment of additional tax-rebate stores.
