In a move set to delight donut enthusiasts across Brazil, Krispy Kreme, Inc. has announced a joint venture with AmPm Comestiveis Ltda (AmPm), marking its foray into the South American market.

Raphael Duvivier, Krispy Kreme’s chief development officer, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting Brazil’s rich culture of sharing meals and sweets with loved ones. “Our fresh donuts will be a great fit in a country well-known for its culture and enjoyment of sharing meals and sweets with family and friends,” said Duvivier. He also praised AmPm for its strong retail presence and experience with iconic brands.

The donut giant is eyeing a launch in Brazil between the end of 2024 and early 2025, pending approval by the Brazilian antitrust authority. This strategic move follows Krispy Kreme’s recent expansion into France, adding to its global footprint. With existing locations in over 30 countries, including Australia, Japan, and the United Kingdom, Krispy Kreme continues to satisfy sweet cravings worldwide.

As Krispy Kreme prepares to bring its signature melt-in-your-mouth donuts to Brazil, anticipation is high among donut aficionados eagerly awaiting the chance to indulge in these delectable treats.
